We are CR.A.F.T., Creative Assistance For Texas, a non-profit organization made up of musicians, artists, researchers, and educators.
Through the instruction of fine arts, community events, and performance experiences, CR.A.F.T’s goal is to inspire and facilitate personal growth within communities.
CR.A.F.T.’s vision is to
1) improve community access and awareness to the fine arts
2) nurture positive productivity through instruction in the arts, and
3) reduce social stigmas prevalent in marginalized communities.
Is currently obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art at the University of Texas RGV. Her work takes on a cross-disciplinary approach and is inspired by the native plant and animal life of South Texas. Torres works within the community, teaching foundational methods of art in which her students can explore artistic expression as a positive tool for self-awareness and discipline.
Is an active music educator and classical guitarist. He holds a Master’s in Performance Studies from Texas A&M University. Presently, he is the Director of Programs at MusiK Music Studio and helps in the development of music programs within the community.

Salvador Garcia’s music education began with saxophone as a teenager, but he has since earned multiple degrees in music with classical guitar as his main instrument. He is an experienced guitar teacher and is currently working in an administrative role for a music non-profit.
A classical guitarist, and current doctoral candidate at the University of North Texas has performed for audiences in Spain, China, and the United States. He has also been a prize winner in various guitar competitions.
Graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and is currently finishing his Masters in Occupational Therapy at The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He is heavily involved in research endeavors based on occupational science and occupational therapy.
Has performed in places like Austria and Spain. He is currently starting his pursuit at a master’s degree in Guitar Performance at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.
